We are proud of the participation of Professor Dr. Gamal Ameira, Vice President of the Egyptian Cancer Society, in the 43rd Annual Conference of the Egyptian Society of Surgeons.
This participation reflects the Society’s commitment to supporting scientific endeavors and strengthening cooperation with various medical bodies, contributing to the advancement of oncology treatment and surgery in Egypt and the region. The conference featured the second workshop on advanced cosmetic breast surgery following the removal of malignant tumors, held at the Nasser Institute. The workshop brought together a distinguished group of Egyptian and British surgeons in collaboration with the British Society of Surgeons on Oncology and the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and with the support of the Presidential Initiative for Breast Cancer. The first day of the workshop included live broadcasts from operating rooms of surgeries performed by leading surgeons, attended by Professor Dr. Abdel-Moaty Hussein, President of the Egyptian Society of Surgeons, and approximately 60 physicians from Egypt, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Azerbaijan. The Egyptian Cancer Society extends its sincere appreciation to all those involved in organizing the conference and workshop and wishes Professor Dr. Gamal Ameira continued success in his scientific and medical endeavors to serve cancer patients.
