A distinguished scientific session was held entitled “New Developments and Challenges in Bladder Cancer”.

A distinguished scientific session entitled “New Developments and Challenges in Bladder Cancer” was successfully held on the sidelines of the National Cancer Institute Conference on Friday, November 7th. The session featured presentations by leading professors in the fields of surgical oncology, urological surgery, oncology treatment, radiation therapy, and diagnostic radiology from various Egyptian universities. The presentations focused on bladder cancer cases at different stages. Presentations were given by Professor Dr. Abdel-Maksoud Ali, Professor and Head of the Department of Surgical Oncology at the National Cancer Institute, and Professor Dr. Hesham El-Wakil, Professor of Oncology at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University. Participating in the scientific discussions were professors from the National Cancer Institute: Professor Dr. Hatem Abu El-Qassem, Professor of Surgical Oncology; Professor Dr. Ashraf Zaghloul, Professor of Surgical Oncology; Professor Dr. Azza Nasr, Professor of Radiation Therapy (from Ain Shams University); Professor Dr. Tarek Osman, Professor of Urology and Urological Oncology; Professor Dr. Ahmed Hassan, Professor of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology (from Kasr El-Aini Faculty of Medicine); and Professor Dr. Emad Hamada, Professor of Oncology and a member of the [unspecified] team.
