On World Cancer Day and on behalf of the Egyptian Society of Cancer Diseases, I emphasize that the word “cancer” is not a nightmare and the most important step is early diagnosis and prevention
Early detection not only helps us treat tumors before they develop and become expensive, but also saves the resources of the state, which always strives to provide free treatment to patients.
We should be aware that environmental pollution and stress are among the most important causes of infection and that tumors are not always malignant, as many of them can be detected early for immediate intervention.
Let us be optimistic and focus on prevention and early detection and my wishes for recovery for all oncology patients
